Blood Bank. Perfect Partners.
“As the hollow needle pierced my right trembling arm, I felt the rush of my warm blood flowing out of my body—I was giving life.”
Today was fantastic! Twas my first time to witness my blood flow out of my veins and into the plastic container. Donating blood is nice! It’s giving out something of your own to people that will need your blood in the future.
It’s giving life!
Much like doing a heroic work and it felt nice. I was really scared at first, but hey I gotta do something I’m afraid about in order to overcome it!
Twas all out a spontaneous idea to donate blood and realizing it now, it sure is worth it. We were so late in our FIL102 class when we arrived, people applauded for our altruistic work. It was really a DHV all the way.
Only drawback is that my muscles grew numb and I felt dizzy, I was growing weak. Good thing I replenished myself with a good drink of water. My only source of comfort was her, against all the weakening. (It sure felt calming and tranquil to have her around)
After that, we had our practical exam for our Rhythmic Activities. We reviewed ‘Swing’ and prepared to be graded. Awesome thing is that, based from my observation, me and my partner got the highest. A perfect 100% for both.
These surely made my day.
